Newport's Bellevue Avenue is approximately 2.4 mi (3.9 km) long and runs from downtown Newport to the south coast. The place to be seen for high society 150 years ago, Bellevue Avenue retains its fashionable reputation with boutique stores, galleries and cafes. Steeped in history, Bellevue Avenue is also home to museums and many of Newport's famed historic mansions.

Popularly known as Ocean Drive, Ocean Avenue runs along the south coast of Newport, from the bottom of Bellevue Avenue to Castle Hill. This renowned stretch of road attracts visitors for its stunning ocean vistas.
