Newport Specialty Attractions

Following along the cliffs on the eastern shore of Newport, from Easton's Beach to the south coast, the famed Cliff Walk draws people from near and far to stroll the 3.5 mi (5.6 km) public access path and to enjoy the stunning ocean views and grand heritage architecture along the way. There are many access points along the path, and although the majority of walkway is ideal for an easy stroll, parts of the southern section are rough and rugged. The Cliff Walk is designated a National Recreation Trail.
